***PLEASE NOTE – Due to the nature of the Knotty Pine lumber, it is possible that sap could eventually show through any engraving that is painted white where there are knots and make a yellowish tint. Unfortunately this is out of our control and can not stop the natural process of the lumber with seeping sap. It is unknown when/if the process will start.

All of our items are handmade and custom, they can possibly vary in appearance from displayed picture in regards to color depth and sheen. Pictures vary in lighting and always have a slight different appearance than in person. Upon request, a actual photo of your specific purchased item can be sent to you before final finish is applied for your approval. Due to our one piece design, charring may cause flag to slightly cup as wood constricts when burnt.
Burning patterns, knots, voids by knots, sap from the pine and blotching will also vary depending on grain in the wood, which is what makes it very unique to your order…there will be no flags with exactly the same burn pattern as yours. If there is light areas or sporadic dots in the coloring, that is due to the sap in the wood and we are not able to control the natural development of the wood.

Purchasing any custom work that includes script, spelling, grammar or designs instituted and approved by the client, is the client’s responsibility. If an error has taken place by the misinformation/approval of the client of work that has been completed and/or shipped, client will pay shipping/handling of repair or replacement and be responsible for material and labor cost of repair/replaced item(s).
